Precare Predictive Maintenance

GEMBO Precare PdM provides predictions in terms of the probability that maintenance is required x number of days from the present, using sequences of historical data. Such predictive maintenance capabilities allow for just-in-time maintenance as opposed to regularly scheduled maintenance, therefore maximizing equipment availability and hence positively impacting overall equipment effectiveness.

Data Lakes
Lakes of data are created through aggregation of historical data from a machine for its specific set up, configuration and usage pattern. Alternatively, in case of more than one machine of the same make and model, the same setup and configuration, and the same usage pattern, the data is aggregated for all these machines in a single data lake. 
Model Training & Validation
One or more different machine learning models are trained using part of the data in the data lake. The rest of the data is used to validate the models by using the data to have the models make predictions. 
Model Selection
The accuracy of the predictions of the models are compared in order to select the model with the best accuracy. 
Model Deployment
A selected model continues to learn from new data, tuning its parameters to closely follow trends in the parameters of the underlying statistical model of the data.
